- 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
- ¼ cup cornstarch + ¼ cup cold water
- 1.5 cups sour cream
- 10.5 oz cream of mushroom soup (opt.)
- 1 lb. wide homestyle egg noodles
Instructions
Prepare the Meat:- Cut beef into 1" cubes and ensure it’s dry.
- Season with garlic powder, a pinch of sea salt, and black pepper.
- Toss in flour to coat lightly.
Sear the Beef:
- Heat 2 tbsp oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear for about 30 secs per side, in batches.
- Set seared beef aside, adding more oil as needed.
Deglaze the Pan:
- Add 1 tbsp butter and white wine (if using) to the pan. Use a spatula to scrape up browned bits.
- Add onions and mushrooms; cook for 4 mins until softened.
- Add garlic; cook for 1 more min.
- Remove from heat.

- Add broth, bouillon, vinegar, Worcestershire, and Dijon to the slow cooker; stir to combine.
- Add seared beef and drippings, along with onions, mushrooms, and garlic.
Cook:
